Not many people can say that they got to celebrate the same holiday twice in one year. I guess it really can only happen with rotating holidays like Easter and Thanksgiving. Harry is one of those lucky people. He's my Easter baby. Last Easter he looked like this:
He was one day old. He was so little and new! And his "Baby's 1st Easter" outfit SWALLOWED him!! :) This Easter he looked like this:
He looks all big and grown up! Where did my baby go!!?? He looks so handsome in his sweater vest! (Colin picked out his outfit when he was home on leave. He did a good job huh!!) Harry still didn't quite get the whole egg hunt thing. He was more excited to play on the patio outside, get into grandpas tools, and try to eat dirt.
At Great-Grandma & Pa's house we had a yummy Easter dinner. Harry loves Grandma's rolls! (So do I!!!)
Harry got to participate in his very first Annual Egg Fight! Every year we all get our colored hardboiled Easter eggs, line up outside across from each other in pairs, and have an Egg Fight. It's not as violent as it sounds! We each take turns tapping our eggs together with our partner and if your egg cracks, you're out. Then we re-group and go again and again until there is an ultimate winner and one indestructable egg. Then we take them inside and make deviled eggs. It's a really fun tradition! This year Harry just watched, but I'm sure that next year he'll want in on the egg crackin' action!!
Harry tried to eat his egg...and turned his mouth and hands orange.
Harry and I battling my cousin Tony...we lost...with both of our eggs! :( Better luck next year!
My sweet little baby turns 1 this Sunday. It's exciting and wonderful, weird and emotional all at the same time. It reminds me of all the things we never got to do with Connor, but makes me excited for all of the things we are going to do with Harry. I'm thankful that my Savior, Jesus Christ, has paid the price for us so we are able to live again with Him, our Heavenly Father, and our precious families. Families are forever! Thanks Jesus! Happy Easter!

I would have loved to be there for his first Birthday. I sucks that I live this close but yet so far away. Work doesn't help either. Bummer. Anyway I hope his day was just as wonderful as I know it would be. We love and miss you Dozier family.
