Phone ring...
So we continued on with our day as planned...since he wouldn't be at the airport for a while anyways...and I took the following fabulous fall pictures:
and some leaves...
and a stump...
and my parents...
and a red tree...
Our next stop was the St. Louis Temple. (A quick shout out to Mandy Kolbaba and her quick texting skills! We were lost and she text me the Temple's phone number so we could call them. Good job!) The St. Louis Temple is BEAUTIFUL!! It would have been a perfect wedding picture taking day!
This is a random fancy pants house that I took a picture of out the car window when we were lost in Fancy Pantsville :) The house is not crooked...my camera was :)
Isn't the Temple pretty!! All those red trees!!
The fountain out front
They really should have had professionals there that day taking post card pictures or something!
Our next stop was the St. Louis Arch. We didn't have time to go up in the top, but mark my words, someday, I will journey to the top of the arch!!!
I was the first one to spot the arch! Good job me! It looks ity bitty from the freeway.
Not so itty bitty up close!! This picture was actually taken from across the street at the park. That's the only way I could fit the entire think in!! :)
I took this picture from underneath. It's very very tall! And I touched it! It's made of metal and really cold!
And here is the squirrel I promised :) The Arch is in a big park with lots of grass and trees. Perfect for a cute little squirrel. And he was eating real live acorns! I'd never seen one before! :) An acorn that is...I've seen squirrels before :)
I have deemed this next picture "Most worthy of a desktop background" Feel free to use it as such :) I bet it looks pretty all covered in snow too :)
After the arch, we were off to the rental car place to take back the car. Then we took the oh so exciting little bus ride to the airport. Then we met Colin and his fellow Army travelers and waited for our plane to board. We had some dinner at the airport Chili's. Yum! (see picture at tippy top of page...that was taken at the Chili's). Once we boarded the plane, this very nice Army girl switched so I could sit next to Colin :) We so lucked out!! Again, what are the odds?? It was the best surprise EVER!!! But then we had to part ways in Dallas... So now Colin is doing his AIT training...but since it took me over a month to post this...he should be home soon!! HOORAY!! Hopefully I'll have a hubby again in the next week or so!! Just in time for Christmas :)

Connor is such a cute little baby! That's the first time I've ever seen a picture of him. Aren't you so glad to have the gospel?!?!
What a fun trip and I love the Temple... so gorgeous. Connor is adorable. I bet him and his sibling are playing right now together in Heaven. Congrats on your pregnancy! How exciting!
Hi friend! How are things going? How is "baby boy Dozier" doing? Is he very active? I finally updated my blog... you can check it out if you have time :) I hope all is well!!! Love you!
Hey Amy, I am glad you got my card. I wasn't sure how much you go out. I have been meaning to do that for awhile. I hope things are good. Your trip you went on seemed eventful. Well just wanted to say hello!!! :) ashley
